How do you know if you are ready to get married?

How do you know if you are ready to get married? I have been seening a lot lately how fast and quick people are getting married so I was thinking how do they know they are ready to get married. Is it just love at first site or is it more than that. I mean some people only know someone for 6 months and they are ready to get married. I also wanted to know at what point do you think you should get married 6mns to a year, two years to five years, or five years to 10 years? I'm not sure, for me I think it should at least be four years to seven years, because you understand the person more and know how they are and act. So I want you to tell me what do you think the age limit should be?
